Position Title:
Program Coordinator Position Overview:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program and supervising the staff. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services to clients while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Program Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering a supportive, collaborative team environment and supporting the professional growth and satisfaction of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Supervision & Development Training, supervision, and performance evaluations in collaboration with Human Resources. Ensure staff are well-trained and equipped to deliver evidence-based care. Provide regular coaching, feedback, and opportunities for professional development. Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture. Program Operations & Oversight Monitor overall program performance. Manage scheduling to maximize efficiency and align with billing and staffing requirements. Conduct regular team meetings to address goals, updates, and challenges. Lead strategic planning and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including licensing requirements. Oversee documentation, tracking logs, reportable events, safety drills, and facility maintenance. Monitor the physical safety and cleanliness of the program site, ensuring client participation and staff adherence to all policies. Client Services & Clinical Support Ensure services are aligned with clients’ goals and treatment plans. Support evidence-based practices and maintain clinical and operational integrity.

Qualifications:
Preferred Education & Licensure:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Active Maine licensure (LCSW, LCPC preferred; LMSW-cc considered for clinical roles).

Skills & Experience:

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to supervise staff, manage programs, and support team cohesion. Experience with evidence-based behavioral health practices and service coordination. Familiarity with documentation standards and quality assurance. Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend availability as needed.
