Job Summary:
- This is an administrative/management position responsible forcoordination of operations at the Homeless Services Center.
Thecandidate hired into this position will be responsible for implementingestablished policies, as well as working closely with Divisionleadership on researching and executing best practice models. Thisperson will assist with special projects that contribute to the CitysPlan to Prevent and End Homelessness. A successful candidate in thisposition will have experience in hiring, training, and supervising staffas a large portion of this role will provide support in these areas toshelter staff and shelter supervisors.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides oversight of operations for assigned program and coordinatesall program activities.
May be responsible for meeting requirements for agency licensure,Medicaid billing, and governmental review.
Assigns, directs, and coordinates cases. Reviews case records and plansfor providing service to clients.
Consults with the Medical Director as appropriate; determinesappropriate services including when to terminate services.
Conducts specialized workshops appropriate to the assigned program;offers educational presentations to providers.
Participates in the grant application and renewal process, programplanning, and service evaluations with all applicable federal and stateregulations.
Assists in developing and administering the program budget.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in the area of human services, public health, orrelated field required, as well as considerable experience in socialservices or public health field, including supervisory experience.
Equivalent combination of training and experience accepted.
Knowledge of program population issues, regions, and sectors related tospecific program.
Administrative skills, including grant writing, recordkeeping, grantmanagement, outcome measurement, and quality assurance.
Experience in case management and crisis intervention.
Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures.
Familiarization with budgets and financial management.
Experience and knowledge in working with individuals, families, andtarget populations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Google Workspace.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Necessary Special Requirements:
- Must possess a valid State of Maine Class C driver’s license.
Must have access to an automobile for work.
Must have and maintain a good driving record.

Hours/Schedule:
- This is a full time (37.
5 hours/week), permanent position. The schedulefor this position is Wednesday-Friday, 7am-5pm, and Saturday 8am-7:30pm.
Additional flexible hours as needed and participating in an on-callrotation is a requirement of this position to operate 24hour services.
