Summary:
This Program Coordinator performs administrative and professional duties in support of the MaineHealth Institute for Research’s Center for Interdisciplinary Population & Health Research and the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences. This team member is responsible for coordinating daily activities in close collaboration with the Operations Manager and Center Director/s. Demonstrating professional diplomacy and discretion, they assure all program-related activities are carried out successfully and in a timely manner, for these responsibilities, and others as assigned:
- administrative grant operations
- meeting scheduling/agendas/minutes
- calendar coordination
- travel arrangements for leaders
- resource for employees regarding departmental policies, procedures, systems and equipment
- assist with new hire onboarding to the team
- administrative coordination, planning, and implementation for team events and MHIR special events
- liaison to all levels of Staff, and with outside constituents.

Education:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
License/Certifications:
Driver’s license may be required based on department business need.
Experience:
One year of experience in healthcare or related work experience required. Some roles may require experience in a specific program area.

Strong computer skills.
