$64,209.60 – $96,324.80 / year Summary
- This position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a cost-effective system of care for trauma patients and their families throughout the continuum of care.
This position works both independently and in collaboration with the trauma program medical director and other members of the health care team and the management staff to provide clinical and system oversight for the care of trauma patients, ensuring the provision of efficient, quality, cost-effective care
- This position is employed by Mosaic Health System. Duties
- Monitor and maintain compliance with statewide trauma system regulatory requirements. Ensure the periodic reporting of trauma data to the state trauma program and National Trauma Data Bank.
- Manages, as appropriate, the operational, personnel and financial aspects of the Trauma Program. Produce, manage, and anticipate future needs for the trauma program budget.
- Assesses the need for policies, procedures, protocols, supplies and equipment relating to the care of trauma patients in coordination with the Trauma Medical Director, hospital administration and clinicians. Develop and monitor the trauma PI program in collaboration with the trauma program medical director.
- Designs and maintains the registry to facilitate performance improvement activities, injury prevention activities, and trend reports while protecting confidentiality. Supervise the accurate collecting, coding, scoring and developing of processes for validation of data entered into the registry.
- Direct community trauma education and prevention programs by developing, implementing and evaluating programs related to injury prevention and other topics for hospital staff, patients, families and the community. Qualifications - Graduate from school of nursing, BSN preferred. Successful completion of critical care program.
- Licensed in the State of Missouri licensure required.
ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC
required.
PHTLS, ACLS
Instructor, TNCC Course Director preferred.
- Five years ER clinical experience required.
