PB Project Support Specialist – Summer Camp 73655 Position Available In St. Charles, Missouri

St. Charles Community College (SCC) is located just west of St. Louis, in the heart of growing St. Charles County. At SCC, we have a passion for student success. SCC’s Community Education Department is seeking PB Project Support Specialist – Summer Camp for our Summer camp students ages 5-14 to support in the preparation and implementation of Summer camp programs SCC Summer Camps provide hands-on experience in specialized fields such as science, engineering, technology, chemistry, math, language arts & literature, computer science, career exploration, visual arts, performing arts, culinary, and sports. The SCC Summer Camps specialize in STEAM opportunities, We are preparing for our summer season and looking for Qualified individual(s) to assist during the summer camp season.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties may include, but are not limited to: Providing support services to program staff Assisting with internal and external communication Recruitment and marketing Assisting with registration processes and scheduling Assisting with classroom set up and instructional needs Collecting and verifying required forms/information Assisting instructors with supply needs Assisting with camp assistants training and support Providing in-class student support as needed Any other responsibilities that may arise

WORK SCHEDULE

General hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Late start/extended hours 10 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. as assigned. Lead support staff will begin 1-2 days per week in April, then 5 days per week beginning-mid May. Additional support staff will begin 5 days per week at the mid-end of May. Employment will continue through the middle of August. Support staff will be scheduled as needed. Please provide vacations and conflicts during application/interview process. Ideal candidates will be available and commit for a minimum of the preparation weeks and 8 of the 9 weeks of camp.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required. Basic computer skills required. Experience working with children required. Must be detail-oriented and organized. Professional communication skills (email, in person, phone, written) required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
