out of 5 stars 12153 Bridgeton Square Drive, Bridgeton, MO 63044 The Studio Coordinator collaborates with studio management, studio staff, and Program Artists to support the promotion of the artists and their art both at the studio and in the community. The Studio Coordinator helps clients produce, finish, and sell their artwork. The position also assists in the art creation and marketing aspects of job duties for Lead Staff and DSP’s working at the studio and assists in the care and physical support of clients when needed. Essential Duties Provides oversight and management of the program gallery including but not limited to: o maintaining the organization and hygiene of the studio including inventory of project and program supplies o planning and organizing shows both on and off site, o curating stored artwork through proper inventory methods and storage techniques o assisting in the development and implementation of the Studio’s goals and vision. Provide instruction and assistance to participants in how to develop and maintain a portfolio of work with appropriate biography statements, title and price artwork for shows, how to properly present, handle, title, store and price their artwork. Provides and documents personal assistance to program participants by: o passing medication as needed o providing oversight and assistance during meals and breaks o assisting with personal hygiene o assisting and supporting individuals with challenging behaviors o transporting individuals to community activities Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. 1-2 years’ experience working in a gallery or retail art environment.
