About the Position
The Park Program Administrator
- Administrative Services is a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing key administrative functions across all Mississippi State Parks.
This position entails managing statewide customer service systems, developing and implementing training programs, overseeing centralized purchasing operations, ensuring park budget compliance, and coordinating departmental travel. In addition to these duties, the Administrator supervises support staff to ensure effective program delivery, quality assurance, and adherence to both state regulations and internal policies. - Three (3) Contractual employees at Headquarters
- Six (6) Off-Site Call Center Staff
- Managed through Park Reservation Center Contract.
- Fifteen (15) Customer Service employees at state park reservations. Does not directly supervise the employees but is responsible for ensuring each customer service employee throughout the state is trained on all applicable systems and policies and procedures.
