31 Agency Maximum Salary $57,291.45 About the Agency The Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) certifies, provides and/or financially supports a network of services for people with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. This position is in the Mississippi Department of Mental Health’s Central Office, which provides the overall statewide administrative functions for the programs and services that fall under the oversight of the agency. To inquire about this position, you may email COHR@dmh.ms.gov About the Position This is a time limited NS-14 position in the MS Department of Mental Health’s Bureau of Behavioral Health Services within the Division of Adult Community Mental Health Services. The incumbent will be responsible for working with certified community mental health service providers across the state and the administrative oversight of state and federal funding for adult services. This position is also responsible for the oversight and fidelity review of Individual Placement Support (IPS) and Supported Employment Expansion programs; able to travel and conduct fidelity reports; receiving, evaluating and processing data and cash requests monthly and ensuring providers are completing and submitting reports; reviewing new interested provider policies and procedures in application to ensure they meet the requirements of the MS Department of Mental Health Operational Standards; reviewing requests for funding proposals from CMHCs annually; and serving as a resource person to community mental health providers, providing programmatic support and technical assistance as needed. What you’ll need to be Successful Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience.
