About the Position
This individual may live in any county in MS. This individual will report directly to the SNAP Policy Team Lead and will be responsible for researching and interpreting SNAP policy, developing policy briefs, bulletins, and memorandums, and coordinating with the Economic Programs’ Training Team to develop training materials for county-office employees.
What you’ll need to be Successful
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet, excellent written and oral communications skills, excellent analytical skills with an ability to work independently and with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience. Demonstrably experience determining SNAP eligibility is preferred.
