About the Position
Strategic leadership, supervision, program oversight, and stakeholder engagement to accelerate progress toward reducing new HIV infections and improving health outcomes for people with HIV (PWH). Ensuring that interventions align with the four key EHE pillars—Diagnose/Treat/Prevent/ Respond—while addressing health disparities among PWH. Responsibility for the implementation of EHE-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment with national, state, and local HIV prevention and care strategies. Develop and implement high-impact, data-driven interventions to reduce new HIV infections, improve linkage to care and re-engagement in care Oversee strategies to increase retention in HIV care and adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) to achieve viral suppression (U=U).Promote rapid ART initiation for newly diagnosed individuals and those re-engaging in care. Manage EHE-funded grants, ensuring compliance with federal HRSA, state, and local requirements. Develop funding proposals and oversee budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation. Monitor performance metrics and program impact to guide continuous improvements in overall goals and objectives of the EHE initiative. And other duties as assigned. Extensive experience in public health management, and healthcare leadership. Experience in HIV prevention and treatment. Experience in program development, community and stakeholder engagement, project management, and relationship building. Skills in health literacy and equity initiatives. Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to learn quickly. Leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks. Attention to detail and a strong value for high-quality work products. Independent work ethic and positive, self-starter attitude.
