Questions about this position can be directed to recruitment@msdh.ms.gov. About the Position This is a time limited position. The Program Specialist III (Healthy Aging Coordinator) will serve within the Healthy Aging Bureau to support the development of a coordinated life course approach to healthy aging in Mississippi. With the rapidly growing aging population, this role will address the significant impact on public and private sectors that serve individuals with chronic conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as their families. The Coordinator will serve as a liaison between the Bureau Director and community stakeholders to address health priorities and achieve performance-based outcomes within a healthy aging ecosystem; Coordinate activities for a three-tier prevention workgroup, ensuring alignment with program goals; and monitor stakeholder adherence to program guidelines, demonstrated through timely and accurate form completion and submission. Preferred Qualifications Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience.
