About the Agency

About the Position
- Responsible for all areas of risk related to staff and patients
- Assures that an appropriate inspection, testing, and maintenance program is implemented
- Schedules competent vendors to complete all required inspections and maintenance on Life Safety equipment
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Life Safety Code 101
- Emergency Management Coordinator for the hospital; responsible for reviewing and updating the hospital’s EOP (Emergency Operation Plans) annually
- Manage and direct areas of safety, including Fire & Safety and Emergency Management
- Responsible for coordinating all inspections related to fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and sprinkler systems
- Analyzing various reports from different hospital departments to identify potential risk and generate recommendations to help minimize risks
What you’ll need to be Successful
The ability to establish beneficial relationships between the Risk Management Dept and other hospital departments, programs, and outside vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience and 2-4 years of supervisory experience.
