About the Position
This individual is responsible for promoting and implementing policies and procedures and evaluating the reporting of birth, death and other vital events in Mississippi. In addition, this individual is responsible for the cross match of information to ensure integrity. The position coordinates activities among key stakeholders including coroners and the public, processing of vital records amendments by validating proof, communicating with customers, analyzing affidavits and court orders, and balancing monies. Duties will require the interpretation of Mississippi Code, Rules and Regulations and policies affecting the amendments of vital records and coordinating work and activities related to this location.
