This role requires extensive statewide travel up to 90% of the time, including evenings and weekends.

This position requires extensive statewide travel up to 90% of the time, including evenings and weekend days. Essential Responsibilities Support County Child Welfare staff during implementation of the statewide Child Welfare Information System (CWIS) Act as integral part of Readiness and Implementation Support initiatives working closely with Readiness Lead Facilitate meetings, conferences, and other activities to advocate for effective communication between state and county staff Foster and maintain communication regarding CWIS concerns impacting Child Welfare operations Coordinate with CWIS business, policy, and project team members to troubleshoot and replicate system errors Report unexpected outcomes within CWIS and escalate to management as appropriate Use policy subject matter expertise regarding NC Child Welfare and knowledge of

functionality Guide new users as they navigate and submit data into the new system Support county delivery of services through system implementation guidance Collect, review, and interpret data to ensure stakeholder and agency objectives are met Provide change management support throughout the implementation process Plan and organize large volumes of work in organized, detailed, and results-driven manner Build and retain relationships with internal and external partners Required Qualifications 3+ years demonstrated working knowledge of technical requirements, program requirements, and business needs in county departments of social services 3+ years demonstrated working knowledge of ability to interpret rules, procedures, and policies with emphasis on NC Child Welfare programs 3+ years ability to collect, review, and interpret data effectively to ensure objectives are met 3+ years ability to think analytically and engage in active problem-solving 3+ years ability to work systematically and logically to resolve problems and identify causes 3+ years demonstrated above average written and oral communication skills 3+ years ability to plan and organize large volumes of work both individually and in teams 3+ years demonstrated relationship building and retention skills with internal and external partners Excellent written and verbal communication skills Change management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Willingness and ability to travel statewide up to 90% of time Preferred Qualifications 3+ years significant proficiency in NC FAST navigation, application development, and system analysis Knowledge of NC Child Welfare policy Experience with SharePoint and JIRA Previous experience with government system implementations Why Join Us Play a critical role in improving child welfare services across the state Support county staff through major system transformation Travel throughout North Carolina and work directly with local communities Contribute to better outcomes for children and families in need.
