Position Summary:

Resolute Charlotte is a grassroots nonprofit focused on helping individuals affected by incarceration, homelessness, poverty, and disconnection from community. We provide transitional housing, case management, benefit linkage, and life-stabilizing services for those in need. We’re seeking a mission-driven Program Coordinator to take the lead in managing and growing these efforts — someone who is not in it for the paycheck , but for the people. This is not just a job. It’s a calling to help people get back on track, to build something meaningful from the ground up , and to be the trusted presence that clients, residents, and partners look to for support.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership & Oversight Coordinate and oversee all Resolute Charlotte services and programs Manage referrals, intake processes, and service documentation Track client progress and report updates to the Agency Director Help develop and grow the nonprofit’s offerings to serve more people effectively Man Up Transitional Housing Oversight Visit the house 2x/week to check in on residents and ensure program expectations are being followed Help resolve issues around cleanliness, conduct, or conflicts Keep housing compliance logs and goal tracking records Serve as the supportive, firm presence to help residents succeed Client Case Management & Resource Support Conduct intakes and help clients develop personal goals Assist with completing Medicaid , Food Stamp (SNAP) , and housing assistance applications Connect clients to GED programs, employment support, mental health services, or peer support Provide weekly follow-up and encouragement to keep clients on track Community Engagement & Growth Build relationships with churches, nonprofits, food pantries, job programs, and housing resources Represent Resolute Charlotte at local events or partner meetings Help coordinate and facilitate workshops , support groups, or life-skills sessions Share client success stories and opportunities for community involvement

Who We’re Looking For:

A people-first leader with strong values and compassion Someone who is committed to community transformation , even when the work is hard or the resources are limited A self-starter who can manage their time, follow up with clients, and bring ideas to the table Must have prior experience in housing support, case management, community organizing, or reentry work Reliable transportation is required
