Coordinates efforts with grants personnel both internal and external that are part of our Skilled Trades and Transportation workforce training programs. Connects community members to educational opportunities that foster economic mobility. Coordinates worksite activities, recruits for identified Clean Energy class, develops and uses existing Grant reporting tools. Creates and maintains timelines to meet Grant goals. Duties and Responsibilities Assists in planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating activities of Skilled Trades and Transportation Grants for workforce training. Oversees student intake to grant classes, working with grant to provide scholarships and/or needed class supplies. Monitors and initiates orders for necessary supplies and consults with Director regarding purchase requisitions and budgets. Makes recommendations regarding practices and procedures within the class. Helps maintain student status and tracking of employment after graduation. Provides community partners, college departments, and others informational material on Central Piedmont educational opportunities, class schedules, eligibility, and processes to obtain scholarships. Serves as a liaison to the assigned grant and/or committee. Manages important alerts and notices to students through all media outlets in collaboration with Marketing. Assists in overseeing budgets for grant, including procurement of items as needed. Collaborates with Financial Aid, Government Relations and Grants and other areas on programmatic activities, monitoring, reporting outcomes, and data tracking. Assists with recruiting employers to provide industry tours, job shadowing, internships, and employment opportunities. Provides employability skills training opportunities and assists students with career preparation including developing resumes, interviewing and job search. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or related Clean Energy Adjacent field and one year of industry-related work experience in the field

Preferred Qualifications :

Strong Reporting and Data Tracking skills Experience in Clean Energy or Adjacent fields Experience working with Green Construction Experience working with Grants Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel Experience with Solar, Wind, Electric Vehicles Workplace safety expertise
