Job Description:
This job is responsible foroverseeing programs and projects specific to corporate changeinitiatives that impact how the bank does business, provides aproduct or service, or executes a function. Key responsibilitiesinclude serving as the primary contact to department managers forcritical change initiatives and communicating, influencing, andnegotiating vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverageresources. Job expectations include delivering regulatory andexecutive material and ensuring results align to program strategy,simplification, and new capabilities. The candidate will supportthe governance and oversight of critical Global Technology programexecution and issues resolution that have significant impact on howthe company does business, provides a product or service, orexecutes a function. A key requirement is to have the intellectualstamina for delivery of regulatory and executive material andensure delivery of the results aligned to our multi-year deliveryefforts for program strategy, simplification and new riskmanagement capabilities. Strong business centric mindset withability to utilize sound judgment and tailor approach to driveoptimal outcomes. Communicates, influences and negotiates bothvertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessaryresources. Build positive give and take relationships withstakeholders and uses the right questions and tools to uncover rootcauses to challenges, identifies opportunities, and makerecommendations. Responsibilities:
Defines program controls, processes, procedures, reportingcadence, decision governance structures, and ways of working withkey stakeholders Works closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams,and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables,required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new changeinitiatives Monitors the execution of defined tasks through tracking ofprogram milestones and their statuses, developing program plans,and measuring progress against ongoing key performanceindicators Analyzes, evaluates, and overcomes program risks, and producesprogram reports for managers and stakeholders Identifies key requirements for cross-functional teams andexternal vendors to perform in alignment with the programobjectives Works with other program managers to identify risks andopportunities across multiple projects within the department,leading them to negotiate decision making for efficient andeffective resolution Meets with stakeholders to provide transparency into projectissues and decisions on services, builds positive relationships,asks questions, and uses tools to uncover root causes tochallenges, identify opportunities, and makerecommendations.
Required Qualification:
10+ Years of Project/Program Management Experience Agile experience Establish and maintain relationships with relevant clientstakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status andchanges Self-starter with ability to work independently as well asleading or participating in a cross-functional teamenvironment Hands on ability leading projects from requirements definitionthrough deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budgetestimations, and implementation plans, including riskmitigation Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projectsin a fast-paced environment Able to lead cross-functional teams in the execution of programobjectives Cultivates a positive team culture and ensures broadercollaboration across the enterprise Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope,schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can bemet Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during theproject lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards andassessing risks High level of integrity and professionalism in dealing withsensitive audit and regulatory matters Practical knowledge of Backup and Resiliency technicalcapabilities and policies Advanced/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel andPowerPoint Proven presentation skills (written and oral): ability topresent key messages, recommendations and information in a clear,concise and insightful way and synthesize information key torelevant points to Senior Executives across the Enterprise Proven executive presence, horizontal and strategic thinkerwith the ability to influence effectively at all levels within theorganization Demonstrates a good sense of judgment, knows when to escalateand how to manage expectations Considers a diverse set of data points and inputs and isdecisive in solutioning
