Job Description
Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Program Administrator, the primary goals of the Academic Program Specialist I are to enhance residents’ learning environment and to provide a wide variety of high level of technical, educational and administrative support to the Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program. This position is the central contact for coordination of faculty assignments and surgical scheduling information.

Qualifications +
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. High school graduate with 4 years related experience in the areas of Education, Business, or other healthcare related field; required. +
Experience:
Four years of experience in Graduate Medical Education (preferred) and/or employment in healthcare field, required. +
Licensure/Certification:
Notary Public, preferred. +
Additional Skills Required:
+ Must have ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other program personnel in high volume environment. + Microsoft Office. +
