Working Title PT Kenan Trust Program Coordinator (EHRA Non-Faculty) Job Title EHRA Non Faculty Temporary Temp Position Type EHRA Temporary Job Category Unspecified FLSA for Position Nonexempt Brief Summary of Work for this Position The Kenan-Watson TA2T Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting Teaching Assistants (TAs) in their transition to fully licensed elementary school teachers. This position will involve high impact and best practices for student support, mentoring, assessment of the success of the program, and logistical aspects of the program, ultimately contributing to the success of TAs and enhancing educational outcomes in North Carolina public schools. This position will be required to travel to teacher internship sites in Brunswick County. The Program Coordinator position is part-time (20 hours per week). Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Master’s degree in elementary education or a related field. Classroom teaching experience K-5 Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience in higher education, teacher education, or adult learning. Experience in online learning and distance education.
