Priority deadline is May 16, 2025. TABLE will be hiring a full-time (40 hours/week) Program Coordinator to start in late spring/early summer 2025. The Program Coordinator will ensure nutritious food is provided to our children weekly in an efficient and cost-effective manner. She/he works collaboratively with program staff and our wider community (volunteers, farms, food partners, food donors) to support our growing organization. Responsibilities Collaborate with vendors and farm partners to supply food to TABLE’s 1,125 kids, creating weekly menus based on our nutrition guidelines, and minimizing food waste. Support our growing organization as we pursue additional food partners, analyze efficiency of cost & time in managing food, research best practices, and explore new opportunities and pathways to provide the most nutritious food to and make the greatest impact on our kids. Collaborate with Nutrition Education and Family Engagement staff to have the food, supplies, preparation, and staff support needed for successful events. Communicate needs for managing food and donations of food with Volunteer Coordinators for productive volunteer shifts. Maintain the organization’s food budget, pursue cost-saving opportunities, and ensure all recordkeeping is properly completed. Responsible for obtaining each year’s budgeted in-kind donation revenue line (i.e. community food drives). Support Family Engagement staff with weekly needs to ensure our records are accurate (such as phone calls to families and updating Salesforce accounts/contact information). Foster relationships with TABLE families, farmers, and our wider community. Contribute toward accomplishing strategic plan goals. Support volunteer shifts as needed/be fully cross trained to lead any shift; support with delivery on occasion as needed. Assist with office coverage (including Mondays), management, & cleanliness. Additional projects & tasks as assigned. Qualifications Passionate about serving children in our community and serving others. Possesses excellent communication skills. Collaborative and willing to support the success of the whole team. HS degree plus either college degree or equivalent work experience. Strong computer skills, specifically Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. Bilingual (Spanish, Karen, or Burmese) is a plus but not a requirement. Willing to commit to this position for at least two years.
