ECU Health Medical Center has achieved Magnet designation twice and provides acute and intermediate care, rehabilitation and outpatient health services to a 29-county region that is home to more than 1.4 million people. Position Summary Oversees the development, implementation, and direction of comprehensive ERAS program. Manages comprehensive performance improvement processes. Monitors financial performance of the ERAS program in conjunction with the Administrator. Collaborates effectively with medical staff professionals. Manages systems to achieve compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies. Serves as a consultant/resource. Increases awareness and knowledgebase of providers and communities through effective outreach, education, and prevention programs. Minimum Requirements 4 year college degree or higher in Nursing required. Must have knowledge of clinical databases. Must maintain active NC RN licensure. More than 5 years of previous experience in a health care setting is necessary. Work experience should come from Inpatient hospital experience with surgical population/patient. Position also requires organized planning, strong communication skills, knowledge of the research process, and the ability to facilitate multidisciplinary
groups. Knowledge of clinical databases is needed. Preferred Requirements Nursing Master’s degree preferred.
Other Information Postion:
1.0 FTE (5) 8 hour shifts / week
Shift:
Day shift/ 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm with occasional after 5pm meetings.
