Julia’s Learning is Wingate University’s post secondary program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Purpose Julia’s Learning invites applications for a Campus Support Coordinator to work directly with the director of Julia’s Learning and students in the program. The Campus Support Coordinator will assist with components of program management and supporting students in the program. This includes but is not limited to managing and scheduling peer mentors, assisting students in planning weekly extracurricular activities, weekly student check-ins, and assisting with person-centered planning. Duties and Responsibilities Managing and scheduling peer mentors. Assisting students in planning weekly extracurricular activities Assisting in student check-ins. Assisting with person-centered planning Assisting the director of Julia’s Learning with projects and components of program management. Regular attendance on campus. May include some weekends and evenings. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Baccalaureate Degree, preferably in a field related to special education, human services, or health related field with alignment to working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Time management, ability to work independently as well as within teams, strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. MA in a field related to special education, human services, or health related field with alignment to working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
