In this position… This exciting opportunity allows you to significantly contribute to the success of our current and future vehicle programs. As a Program Management Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of program execution, from initial concept to final production launch. You’ll be a key player in a collaborative environment, working closely with Marketing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments. This role reports to the Program Manager. What you’ll do… This position will focus on one of the four core pillars of Program Management, depending on the successful candidate’s experience and skills.
These pillars include:
Program Planning:
Develop winning product propositions and business cases. Responsibilities may include leading the Product Direction Letter (defining features, options, and materials), managing export market strategies, and authoring milestone papers.
Program Control:
Ensure on-time delivery and manage program health. Responsibilities may include overseeing program timing, deliverables, and health reports; leading export, complexity, and capacity workstreams; co-managing the sourcing process; and facilitating decision approval forums and steering team meetings.
Program Studio:
Collaborate with the studio team to define vehicle appearance and achieve exceptional customer appeal within cost targets. Responsibilities may include leading key studio milestones, appearance approval forums, and the Color & Material Product Direction Letter (C&M PDL) and Appearance Approval (AAR) process.
Prototype, Launch & Plant Vehicle Teams:
Support prototype builds, manage the launch process, and resolve assembly plant issues. Responsibilities may include managing change management, leading prototype builds, resolving launch issues, and overseeing Plant Vehicle Team processes. In addition to the pillar-specific responsibilities, all Program Management Supervisors will: Champion a positive and inclusive work environment. You’ll have… Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field 2+ years of experience in Program Management within the automotive industry Even better, you may have… Master’s of Science degree 4+ years of experience in Program Management within the automotive industry Engineering or innovative feature development experience Deep knowledge of vehicle development milestones and deliverables Proven passion for automotive product development and the brand Must have strong understanding of program management workstreams Must have exceptional critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Must have ability to build strong relationships and drive issues to resolution across multiple teams Must have ability to articulate a point of view and effectively collaborate within a highly collaborative environment
