Job Summary:

The Director of Member Engagement directly manages the Member Engagement Team (four Managers and one coordinator of Member Engagement) and works cross-functionally with Marketing, Training/Education, and Customer Success teams. Success in this role is measured by growth in membership, retention rate, and member satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop and execute strategies to attract new members and increase retention. Oversee member onboarding processes, ensuring high engagement during the first 90 days. Lead programs to foster community building and ongoing engagement. Continuously enhance the value of TCIA membership through new benefits and partnerships. Manage the rolling annual renewals and implement initiatives to improve renewal rates. Use data analytics to inform membership strategy and report on key metrics. Collaborate across departments to deliver a cohesive and valuable member experience. Directly supervise and develop the Member Engagement Team. Act as the voice of the member across internal initiatives. Stay current on trends and best practices in membership and engagement.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Track record of growing and retaining membership or customer bases. Strong strategic, analytical, and data-informed decision-making skills. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally. Innovative mindset and passion for enhancing member experience. Understanding of business operations and B2B value communication. Proficiency with

AMS, CRM

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or related credential is a plus.

This role oversees the end-to-end member experience – from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing engagement and renewal – with a mandate to expand our community to 1,800 members and achieve a retention rate of 80% or higher.
