MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited college or university with a major study in liberal arts, education, information technology, business or a closely related field.
Experience:
Five (5) years’ experience as a teacher, trainer, curriculum/course developer in the field of information technology, network administration, cybersecurity, or closely related experience.
OR Education:
Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in liberal arts, education, information technology, business , or closely related field.
Experience:
Four (4) years’ experience as a teacher, trainer, curriculum/course developer in the field of information technology, network administration, cybersecurity, or closely related experience.
License/Certification:
Possession of a valid driver’s license or access to transportation.
RECOMMENDED WORK TRAITS
Knowledge of the subject matter as it relates to the course of instruction, teaching methods and materials, and curriculum development, and course/program evaluation. Considerable knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, materials, tools and equipment used for instruction within the program area. Knowledge of educational standards and procedures. Ability to work with and secure the cooperation of others. Ability to maintain comprehensive records of the progress and development of the individual student. Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively both orally
