The Coordinator is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the After School Program and staff, for organizing daily activities, communicating with parents and the Administration, and upholding the polices, procedures and values of the school. Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of enrolled participants
• Manage and supervise all daily operations and aspects of the program, including ASP staff, and coordinate with the school’s administration
• Provide a positive, organized environment and manage activities that extend the school day
• Maintain the staff work schedule and calendar
• Communicate with the parents on a routine basis
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, student sign-in/out sheets, and incident/accident reports, and staff hours
• Report any problems which arise with participants, other employees, parents, or the school to the Principal
• Follow and enforce program policies and procedures
• Promote the Catholic values and mission of the school Qualifications
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children (Pre K 3 – 8th graders)
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Virtus / DOE fingerprinting
• Be a self-starter and perform job with little supervision
• Possess basic knowledge and understanding of school-aged children.
