Program Director Growing Seeds Learning Academy Chatham, NJ 07928 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead our organization in developing and managing programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work, program development, and behavioral health, along with exceptional skills in relationship management and program management. This role is essential for ensuring that our programs are effective, sustainable, and aligned with our mission to enhance the quality of life for those we serve. Duties Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Manage daily operations of the program, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to foster a positive work environment. Develop and manage budgets for various programs, ensuring financial sustainability. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families to promote program visibility and collaboration. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and outcomes. Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral health and program management. Ensure all administrative tasks related to program operations are completed efficiently. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Early Education, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in program development and management within the social services sector. Strong understanding of working with individuals who have developmental disabilities. Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Proficiency in budgeting and financial management related to program operations. Strong administrative skills with attention to detail. Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment. Knowledge of behavioral health principles is highly desirable.
