AUNY /SEIU
Program Coordinator for the newly established
AU /SEIU 1199
mental health counseling program partnership through the Career Pathways Training (CPT) program grant. This is a full-time, grant-funded position that will be in place from June 2025 through June 2027. The position also includes a faculty appointment as either a senior instructor (if master’s qualified) or clinical assistant professor (if doctorally qualified) in the AUNY Counseling Program. The

Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the
AUNY /SEIU 1199
mental health counseling program partnership through the CPT program. This exciting new partnership builds upon AU’s existing mental health counseling program that is delivered in the NYC metropolitan area in partnership with the Center for Integrated Training and Education (CITE). The program coordinator will report directly to the Dean of the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies and will serve as the day-to-day program manager for the
AUNY /SEIU 1199
mental health counseling program cohort. This is a weekend-based graduate program for working professionals with courses being held on Saturdays and Sundays. As such, the program coordinator will need to be available on Saturday and Sunday for the duration of the position. The program coordinator will also need to be available during the week, including some evenings for virtual office hours. This is a hybrid position, with in-person requirements during the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and remote work during the week. The position will include traveling between program sites in midtown Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn as well as the CITE office in Brooklyn Heights.
