Director of Day Programs 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Millbrook, NY 12545 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director to lead and oversee our programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work, program development, and relationship management. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage staff, budgets, and program operations while ensuring the highest quality of service delivery. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities. Manage daily operations of the program, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including families, community partners, and government agencies. Oversee budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability of programs. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for improvement. Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral health and program management. Prepare administrative reports on program activities, outcomes, and challenges. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Service or related field Minimum five years directly related experience required.
