Summer Extended Day Program Educator Wheelhouse Creative Education Center 5599 Route 23, Acra, NY 12405 Wheelhouse is a multi-faceted educational organization located in Acra, NY. Our mission is to create educational environments that promote a culture of collective care, and that are holistic, joyful, and strongly connected to the natural and social world. We are currently hiring for an educator to work as part of our extended day team this summer. Our Extended Day option provides care for children between the ages of 3 – 12 in the afternoons, after our main summer camp program concludes for the day.
Responsibilities include:
Activity planning Fostering a respectful and caring environment Supervising children and implementing safety procedures Engaging in ongoing reflection with colleagues Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications: Prior experience working with children Background in education or a related field is preferred A love of the outdoors

$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week
