Job Description
Position Overview ICS Thrive is our social adult day program that allows our members with physical disabilities to connect and socialize, enjoy healthy lunches and engage in a variety of on-site activities, including art and recreational programs, interactive games, and fitness programs that promote physical and mental health. Under the supervision the Senior Manager, Member Programs, the Coordinator will facilitate and lead goal-oriented, member-centered activities and complete required documentation and billing in a manner that is consistent with the ICS mission, vision, and values. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or any other professionals seeking early-level experience in human services, care management, recreation therapy, or related fields. The salary range for this fulltime position is $48,000 – 55,000 per year Essential Functions + Plan, coordinate, and lead a variety of group activities that maximize each participant’s strengths and abilities and consistent with each participant’s care plan. + Process program enrolment approvals/authorizations for current and potential members. + Receive feedback from members and adjust programming to meet their needs and requests. + Prepare comprehensive care plans for each member, complete progress notes as required (currently, twice per year) + Maintain statistics and attendance information/records and support billing and authorization process for payment. + Clean up supplies and equipment after activities, as needed. + Attends team meetings to provide updates for changes in participant status, behavior, and health. + Provide direct oversight and management of program in Senior Manager’s absence. + Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality, engaging program components to members + Engage in outreach and marketing activities to increase program enrollment. + Respond to the needs of members and the organization, even if those needs do not coincide with the details of this job description Requirements Minimum Qualifications + High School Diploma/GED required, some college strongly preferred + Excellent interpersonal skills + Proven ability to modify program components to ensure participation + Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel + Ability to write clearly and concisely + Outstanding organizational and administrative skills + Experience working directly with clients in a group setting Preferred, Additional Qualifications + BS/MA/MS in Therapeutic Recreation/Creative Arts + Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Russian a plus + One year of fulltime related experience preferred + Personal or professional experience with people with disabilities preferred + Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist preferred Benefits + 28 days of PTO, plus 11 holidays, in your first year + 35 hour work week + excellent benefits, including health insurance, tuition support, and paid disability leave + option to work remotely one day per week
