Duties Description The Treatment Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that appropriate, timely and quality services are provided in accordance with all applicable standards and guidelines. The Treatment Team Leader is essential to the safe operation of services and supports while ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations. The incumbent of this position will be required to make regular visits to sites throughout the DDSO region.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
may include but are not limited to the following:
- Direct supervision of employees.
- Enhance monitoring of new employee evaluations and competencies.
- Provide training to new employees and new supervisors.
- Provide reports as requested by the Director, Deputy Director and DDPSIVs.
- Collaboration with the Unions as needed.
- Coordination of roll out of the e-scheduler.
- Conduct site visits to IRAs within the DDSO region, including during off hours and on weekends.
- Ensure appropriate, timely and quality services are provided in accordance with all applicable standards and guidelines.
- Assist management with oversight of staffing resources, including recruitment, retention, developing/implementing balanced schedules, overtime management.
- Assist with development of policies and ensure contracts, policies and procedures are followed.
- Work closely with the treatment team leaders and DDPSIVs to ensure the health and safety minimums are maintained in the IRAs and Day Habilitation Programs.
- Develop, implement and track necessary data including habilitation services, Medicaid billing, community access, performance evaluations, training data, OPWDD Respiratory data.
- Participate in a variety of committees.
- Coordinate special projects required by management and Central Office.
- Assist with coordination of the Employee of the Year and DSP Recognition events.
- Administrator on Duty (AOD): function as an AOD on a rotational basis; Coordinate AOD coverage and training; serve as an AOD support during peak hours such as shift transitions which will mitigate/reduce the volume of calls going to the AOD.

Minimum Qualifications Competitive:
Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the Current Civil Service Eligible List. Transfer Opportunity – Candidates must have permanent status as a Treatment Team Leader Mental Health M-1 and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Sections 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law. To be eligible for transfer under Sections 70.1 or 52.6 of the Civil Service Law, candidates must have one year of permanent competitive service in a title approved for transfer by the Department of Civil Service within two salary grades or one M-grade of the M-1 level.

- Please note that starting salary for this title reflects the Downstate adjustment. Posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for M/C Grade M-1 ($93,659) and Downstate Adjustment ($4,000). Downstate Adjustment is also added to the job rate ($118,388).
