Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, professional and highly skilled Program Coordinator to join our growing mental health practice. This full-time hybrid position is ideal for a pre-licensed masters social work professional who is passionate about direct client care, nurturing the future of social work students, and contributing to the strategic growth of a collaborative and mission-driven practice. The Program Coordinator will provide high-quality psychotherapy services, offer supervision to interns and administrative staff, and support outreach and marketing efforts to expand the practice’s visibility and impact. Orchard Blue Counseling Services (OBC) is a Black, Woman owned and led private mental health practice, based in New York. OBC specializes in child and adolescent psychotherapy while serving parents and adults. OBC provides individual therapy, family therapy and parent coaching along with workshops and professional development services. Our therapy services are available in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, while other wellness services are offered nationwide. As a certified state contractor and Department of Education vendor, Orchard Blue Counseling Services provides essential mental health counseling and workshops to students, faculty, and businesses. Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Services

• Provide billable psychotherapy services to a minimum of 30 clients per week, including individual, family, and/or group therapy.
• Deliver in-person sessions at our Floral Park, NY office as part of your caseload.
• Conduct initial client consultations and enrollment to ensure appropriate care placement.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards. Supervision & Program Oversight
• Supervise undergraduate and/or graduate-level counseling or social work interns.
• Support the onboarding, clinical growth, and professional development of supervisees.
• Monitor and guide clinical work in accordance with licensure board requirements and evidence-based practices. Marketing & Community Engagement
• Partner with leadership to enhance practice visibility and community presence through outreach and networking.
• Participate in developing and implementing marketing strategies, workshops, webinars, and public events.
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local schools, providers, and community organizations to support referrals and client acquisition.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Active, unrestricted New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
• Seminar in Field Instruction Certification or obtain within Six Months of Employment is required
• Minimum of 1 year direct patient/client psychotherapy experience
• Previous experience providing supervision or training to interns or early-career social service or mental health professionals.
• Strong clinical expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, or families.
• Technologically proficient in telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
