Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to establish and lead our Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). As the Director of the EPMO, you will serve as a linchpin between our strategic planning process and enterprise execution. You will be responsible for ensuring that initiatives across the organization are aligned with enterprise priorities, appropriately resourced, governed with discipline, and delivering value. This includes managing the centralized intake and prioritization of new initiatives, and indirectly guiding distributed PMOs and project teams embedded throughout the business.
Pay:
$175,000. – $220,000. The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Staff & Management Key Responsibilities Strategic Alignment and Execution:
Act as a bridge between the strategic planning process and operational delivery. Ensure that all initiatives are aligned with enterprise goals and contribute to long-term strategic outcomes.
Initiative Intake and Prioritization:
Lead the end-to-end intake process for new enterprise initiatives. Evaluate proposals based on strategic fit, resource requirements, dependencies, and value potential, and drive prioritization decisions with executive stakeholders.
Develop EPMO Standards:
Stand up the enterprise PMO function, including developing governance structures, delivery frameworks, portfolio management tools, and performance measurement systems.
Governance and Methodology:
Define and implement consistent project/program management practices. Establish reporting cadences, health metrics, and governance forums to drive delivery excellence.
Enterprise Portfolio Management:
Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise initiatives—from intake to execution to benefits realization. Maintain a transparent, actively managed portfolio with clear accountability and risk mitigation strategies.
Executive Reporting and Insights:
Deliver high-impact reporting and insights to the C-suite on portfolio health, initiative performance, strategic alignment, and organizational capacity.
Cross-Enterprise PMO Integration:
Indirectly manage and coordinate with PMOs and project teams embedded in business units and functional areas. Align local efforts with enterprise standards, reporting, and governance while respecting operational autonomy.
Change Leadership:
Integrate change management and stakeholder engagement practices into project execution to ensure adoption, sustainment, and value delivery. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management, including at least 5 years leading an enterprise-level PMO or equivalent function. Deep expertise in managing initiative intake and strategic portfolio governance processes. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive results in a matrixed, cross-functional environment. Strong communication and executive engagement skills, with a track record of translating strategy into actionable plans and performance insights. Experience managing distributed PMO structures and aligning efforts across business units or functions. Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, SAFe, Smartsheet, MS Project). PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business, strategy, or a related field preferred.
