Job Description

The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC) seeks a collaborative, mission-driven Program Manager to lead collaboration and coordination across clinical, training and the family healing programs, while overseeing the agency-wide internship program. This is a full-time hybrid position. The position requires a Tuesday through Saturday schedule with one evening during the week. The Program Manager will play a key leadership role in advancing NYSPCC’s mission to support the safety, healing, and wellbeing of children, youth, and families impacted by abuse, neglect, and trauma. The position will report to Senior Advisor for Prevention Innovation.

Responsibilities:

Serve as on-site manager on Saturdays and one evening a week Manage the agency-wide social work internship program, including recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of student interns across departments. Provide trauma-focused therapeutic services to families participating in our Therapeutic Visitation and Trauma Recovery Programs Provide group therapy to parents in our Therapeutic Visitation program Facilitate crisis debriefings throughout the five boroughs with child welfare staff after critical incidents and fatalities Deliver engaging, evidence-informed training and workshops for children, parents, caregivers, interns, and professionals.

Qualifications:

LCSW and New York State licensure required Minimum five years of post-MSW experience providing trauma-focused services to children, families, and caregivers. Demonstrated experience working alongside families with complex needs, including histories of trauma, intimate partner violence, child maltreatment, mental health challenges, and/or substance use. Experience supervising interns and/or staff and familiarity with SIFI requirements; SIFI certification required. Commitment to person-centered, culturally responsive, and strengths-based practice. Familiarity with evidence-based interventions preferred.
