The Program Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation support of the programs and initiatives within the FACES. Reporting to the Program Manager will assist in the coordination of program activities, data collection, stakeholder engagement, and administrative tasks to ensure the successful execution of public health projects.
Responsibilities:
Program Support :
Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of public health programs and interventions. Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, promotion/marketing and arranging for venues or equipment as needed. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery and adherence to project timelines.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Assist in the development and administration of surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection tools. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing program findings and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
Community Engagement :
Support outreach efforts to engage key populations and community stakeholders in program activities. Attend community events, meetings, and conferences to represent the organization and build relationships with partners and collaborators.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to program staff. Maintain accurate records of program activities, expenditures, and participant data.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Community Health, Health Education, Community Development Psychology, Education, Project Management or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in program development and social service setting, preferably health education and/or population health. Demonstrated interest in public health issues and a commitment to improving health outcomes for underserved populations. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience working in a public health setting or with community-based organizations is a plus. Experience and knowledge in communicable infections (HIV, HCV and STIs)
