Job Description
Program Director – LCSW CivicMind, Inc. Babylon, NY 11703 Roles & responsibilities Function within the policies and procedures as outlined in the program practice guide and employee manual. Provide overall management of assigned programs. Complete necessary reports and case documentation. Provide crisis intervention and counselling as needed. Provide supervisees with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to succeed Adhere to state regulations and applicable code of conduct. Perform other resulting and necessary work to meet the needs and requirements of the clients, the program, Hope for Youth, oversight agency and any other regulatory obligations How you will generally spend your time in this job: 50% General casework responsibilities, documentation, reports, program development 20% Supporting youth 20% Supporting staff 10% Meetings/supervision/training Requirements
LMSW / LCSW / LMHC A
valid driver’s license Clear criminal record and clear state central registry Ability to provide 24/7 on call availability Ability to: Operate a motor vehicle carrying up to ten (10) children and youth Lift/move up to fifty (50) pounds Escort children and youth into the community using stairs when necessary Physically restrain a child or youth during a crisis situation Read/write reports and log entries Support other projects and locations, as needed
Physical Requirements:
read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing/sitting for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, ongoing access to reliable vehicle and driving own vehicle for work

$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
