Based out of our Lower Bucks (Bristol) Campus, the Director of Crisis is responsible for daily operation of Crisis Services including supervision of all Crisis supervisors, and crisis workers.

A master’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling, education or related fields and three years of mental health direct care experience strongly preferred.
Can also accept:
A bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education or related fields, or be a registered nurse and have five years of direct care experience A bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years mental health direct care experience A registered nurse certified in psychology or psychiatry Commitment to meeting the urgent needs of the community as they arise. Flexibility to work evenings, weekend and overnights as needed, and ability to provide on-call coverage on a rotating schedule in support of a 24/7 program Ability to work out of the Doylestown location when necessitated Valid driver’s license Computer proficient Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job description, with or without accommodation
What You’ll Do:
Manage daily operations of Crisis Services, including hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling team members to ensure 24-hour onsite staff coverage Oversee all Crisis services procedures to assure compliance with requirements specified in all applicable state and county regulations, as well as the LVF administration Promote and maintain good relationships and communication between departments Assist in the completion of monthly audits and ensure the completion of all necessary documentation and electronic health record entries Ensure follow up calls are made to consumers to monitor outcomes and ensure continuity of care. Act as first level of appeal for consumer and family complaints regarding Crisis Services Preside over bi-monthly department staff meeting in conjunction with site supervisors Serve as a representative of Crisis Services in community stakeholder meetings by fostering collaborative relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers, school personnel, law enforcement, and hospital administrators to enhance coordination of care and crisis response strategies. Conduct community-based presentations to increase awareness and understanding of crisis services, including program interventions and access points, tailored to various audiences such as the general public, educators, medical professionals, and community organizations. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to provide clinical guidance to crisis staff including answering questions, supporting risk assessments, and assisting with level of care determinations. Also providing program coverage and emergency crisis response during off-hours as needed, staff shortages or high-volume periods to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 service delivery.
