To assist the Program Director with all aspects of Community Living Arrangements or Family Living Homes. Risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens classification: I EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
One of the following: A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and one (1) year work experience working directly with persons with disabilities. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years work experience working directly with persons with disabilities. An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and four (4) years work experience working directly with persons with disabilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Adhere and comply with policies, regulations and procedures as indicated in the Policy and Procedures Manual of Royer-Greaves School for Blind. Assists with coordinating and completing assessments. Participates in the development of the ISP, Annual update and ISP revisions. Responsible for coordinating the training of the direct service workers in the content of health and safety needs relevant to each individual. Responsible for training all new hire in Setworks documentation. Responsible for reviewing Residential Program daily documentation on Setworks as well as updating old information and inputting new information on the Setworks system Responsible for health, safety and welfare of all individuals. Responsible for ensuring all fire safety provisions outlined in the regulations. Responsible for assuring all training requirements of each Residential direct service worker is completed and up to date. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations outlined in Chapter 6400 Regulation, Community Living Arrangement. Participates as a member of Committees, including but not limited to: the management team, Emergency Preparedness, Risk Management and Quality Assurance. Check on each of the CLAs on a monthly basis. Handel issues regarding Supports Coordinators. Responsible for preparing for and attending ISP meetings. Communicate with Supports Coordinators and families about issues concerning Individuals. Responsible for insuring that all monthly paperwork is handed in to the office at the end of each month. Responsible for reviewing monthly paperwork from the CLAs and reviewing them for error. Making sure that all errors are corrected. Responsible for organizing and participating in Quarterly book reviews of all Inspection Binders Responsible for communicating with the pharmacy and Program Director regarding any medication issues. Responsible for providing documentation to support changes to the ISP to the support’s coordinator, as applicable. Responsible for reviewing monthly receipts for spending for the CLA’s, making sure they are approved by the Deputy Executive Director before handing it into the Accounting Department. Complete Certified Investigation Training Reports any content discrepancy to the Supports Coordinator and plan team members. Reviews the ISP with the individual and documents the review. Provides documentation of the review to the Support Coordinator and plan team members, and informs them of the option to decline the ISP review.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets periodicals, professional journals, financial reports, legal documents, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to read, understand, and explain professional literature. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of administrators, parents, staff, colleagues, and the general community. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from staff, parents, students, community members, and administrators.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) in the performance of routine assignments. Ability to understand and communicate statistics for educational research and program management.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and /or communicate a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms. Ability to solve practical problems, takes initiative, and deal with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists. Ability to apply sound judgment to resolve conflicts, and solve problems.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to utilize a computer for communication, data management, and report development. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, and the community. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form. Ability to perform duties with awareness of all Board policies. Responsibility for the safety, well-being, and work output of others. Ability to meet demands from several people. Ability to respond to and solve several problems, simultaneously. Ability to remain calm in emergency situations and under pressure.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk and drive. The employee is frequently required to talk or listen. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to handle or feel and to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. The position requires meeting deadlines with severe time constraints, interacting with the public and staff, irregular or extended work hours
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise leveling the work environment is usually mild to moderate depending on the specific site. The work environment varies according to the location of the ATF program within the areas of responsibility.
