Full Time, Monday through Friday 8:30A – 4:30P (with flexibility when needed)
Hybrid in office / in field / remote position
Located in Blue Bell, PA
The Assistant Coordinator is responsible for providing an array of supports to the Lifesharing individual and their family. They are largely responsible for the medical care and follow-up appointments of the individuals supported through Lifesharing, ensuring that the unique needs of each person are met.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Scheduling and escorting individuals to doctors’ appointments
Support during bloodwork, medical tests and procedures
Maintaining individual electronic records
Assisting with transportation
Documentation
Assisting in emergency situations
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong people and communication skills, be organized, have excellent time management skills, possess the ability to work both independently as well as with a team, support positive approaches, and have experience supporting people with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Valid driver’s license
Clear criminal record and child abuse check in accordance with state requirements
Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
Skills needed will be the ability to scan, copy, print, email, create files, save documents, manage outlook calendar, upload forms, type summary of appointment into computer system, and other duties as assigned
