Our client, a leading non-profit organization in Philadelphia,PA, is seeking a Program Facilitator to lead and support multiplehands-on STEM programs for middle and high school students. Thisrole is essential in inspiring youth through lab-based educationalexperiences and in building strong relationships with schools,community groups, and startup mentors. The ideal candidate will beconfident in leading workshops, adaptable to diverse learningstyles, and enthusiastic about working with students in bothclassroom and lab settings.
About You:
Experience in STEMeducation, youth development, or program facilitation in school orcommunity settings. Ability to engage and inspire middle and highschool students from diverse backgrounds. Strong organizational andcommunication skills, with the ability to manage multiple programsand stakeholders. Comfort working in lab or workshop environmentsand familiarity with hands-on educational tools. Experiencecollaborating with teachers, startups, or community organizationsis highly preferred. Flexible schedule availability during regularbusiness hours, with occasional after-hours commitments. About the
Job:
Lead and facilitate 4-6 STEM-based youth programs weekly,coordinating with schools, community partners, and internal teams.
Manage all aspects of program delivery including attendance,materials preparation, and mentor engagement. Collaborate with theProgram Manager and Coordinator to develop and improve STEMcurriculum that aligns with industry trends. Serve as the mainpoint of contact for educators, chaperones, and community-basedorganizations. Support outreach, reporting, and evaluation efforts,including site visits, grant documentation, and budget tracking.
Represent the client at events and in the community to promoteyouth programming and build strategic partnerships. This is acontract position expected to run through June 2026, with anestimated schedule of approximately 30 hours per week.
