Job Description
Preschool Program Specialist 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Northampton County, PA Summary of position : Provide support and monitor preschool sites to help meet the high-quality standards established by the Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). Job Responsibilities (see attached job description for additional details): Monitor assigned PA Pre-K Counts grant recipients for compliance with the PA Pre-K Counts regulations and policies, and, Head Start Supplemental Assistance Program (HSSAP) grant recipients for compliance with monitoring standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in early education or related field. Master’s degree in early education, child development, or administration preferred. Minimum of 5 years of high level-work in the field of early learning with experience in partnership work and administration. Exceptional writing, organizational, and management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams. Ability to perform a leadership role, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively with preschool programs, partners, and colleagues.
Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, 12 months/year
Salary:
Starting at $59,669.07/year. Established by the Intermediate Unit Board of Directors per the Compensation and Benefits Plan for PA Key, Classification – Education Specialist. This position will serve
