Program Associate – Beverly’s Babies Beverly’s PGH North Huntingdon, PA 15642 Program Associate – Beverly’s Babies This is a full-time, in-person role at our North Huntingdon, PA headquarters. The position reports directly to the Program Manager of the Beverly’s Babies division. This dynamic and engaging role keeps you on your feet and involved in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be able to stay active while doing meaningful work, ensuring that each day is productive and enjoyable. Whether sorting inventory, setting up community events, or interacting with families, you’ll find plenty of ways to stay physically engaged while making a positive impact! Our baby division provides extensive assistance to expecting families and new parents, guiding them through welcoming new life with confidence, resources, and support. Standard office hours are M-F from 8:30-4:30 p.m. This is not a remote position. Our group birthday celebrations are held in the late afternoon/early evening, and this role is expected to assist with facilitating parties to support the programming team (a minimum of one evening per week). Additional compensation is provided for celebrations held after 4 p.m.
Salary & Benefits:
$40,000 annual salary + monthly healthcare stipend. Additional benefits include PTO plan, sick time, short-term disability, 403b retirement plan, parental leave policy, and life insurance. Required Qualifications Strong passion for supporting at-risk populations and commitment to our mission of empowering families, particularly in maternal health and related social services. Previous experience working in spaces focused on addressing Social Determinants of Health (SDoH). Must be interested in maternal health, birthing, pregnancy, and pre/postpartum support services. Proven ability to set objectives, manage multiple projects effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards and accuracy in all work. Self-motivated problem-solver with the capability to work independently and adapt to changing demands. Comfortable with public speaking, facilitating groups, and maintaining positive community partnerships. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and skilled in utilizing technology for organizational tasks. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and active listening. Enthusiastic about unpacking baby items and delivering joy through our services to families. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, sort, stoop, and stand for extended periods. Valid driver’s license required; must be willing to operate Beverly’s PGH vehicles (CDL not required). Able to obtain necessary clearances, including PA State Police, FBI Fingerprinting, and Child Abuse clearance.
Education Requirements:
A degree in social work, early childhood, infant/maternal health, public health, and/or other professional/work-related experience.
Essential Duties:
The Program Associate, reporting directly to the Beverly’s Babies Program Manager, will support the day-to-day oversight of the Beverly’s Babies division, which includes the following program lanes: A Year of Cheer & Hello Baby, CYF/CYS Baby Banks, The Greater Pittsburgh Infant Formula Bank, Free Community Baby Showers, and Itty Bitty Diaper Bags. Serve as the primary point of contact for fulfilling and managing referrals for the Year of Cheer program, which provides critical baby care products to families. Ensure that referrals are completed in a timely manner. Shelf and restock products to support order completion. Inventory infant formula using established procedures within Beverly’s PGH inventory system, ensuring accuracy, monitoring expiration dates, and adherence to organizational protocols Restock and deliver items to the Greater Pittsburgh Infant Formula Bank sites (Allegheny and Westmoreland County) Pull products and deliver items to the Baby Bank Cabinets within Allegheny and Washington Counties Engage with program inquiries submitted via telephone and online for The Greater Pittsburgh Infant Formula Bank and the Beverly’s Babies division Support the partnership with Allegheny County DHS, Hello Baby Program, and product fulfillment. Support the creation of Itty Bitty Diaper Bags Engage with community partners, understand community needs, listen and support families, and learn about new resources for families in the community Lead and facilitate interactive games and activities for crowds of 60+ participants, ensuring high energy and engagement Support the success of the Babies in the Burgh Mobile Unit and attend programming dates when assigned Lean into the growth of the Beverly’s Babies division and serve as an integral team member in supporting and celebrating families Support the Sr. Director of Inventory and Operations with shelving and inventorying products for programs within the baby division Support Beverly’s PGH programming team with any other needs. All programming staff are cross-trained to understand all three of the divisions within the organization. Facilitate a minimum of four birthday celebrations per month Quickly learn and effectively use internal computer systems, software, and tools to perform daily tasks and support team operations The candidate must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable driving a personal vehicle for programming purposes.
