  • The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.

An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.1-3 total Supervisory/Managerial experience preferredNADD Certification requires within 1 year of hireCertified Technology Assessor PreferredHRST Reviewer Preferred

We are seeking a Program Specialist to join our team in Westmoreland and Washington Counties, PA.The Program Specialist plays a critical role in the day-to-day management and oversight of specific client care within their identified Division. Reporting to the Director of Programs, this position is responsible for coordinating program activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to program participants. This role includes a caseload of program participants.

Overall coordination of individual care and servicesClient Care and SafetyResponsible for service plan development and implementationCollaborates with Nursing to address Consumer healthcare issues, prescribed medications, discharge instructions, Consumer-specific adaptive equipment needs, and delivery of Individual

  • specific trainingMeets with Supports Coordinators (SC)/Case Manager to transfer ISP dataCollaborate with Behavior Specialist regarding Behavior Support Plan; submits to Peer Review; works with management regarding response and plan of action; monitors adherence to planPerform other duties as assigned
