POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide a person to support the
SRNS SRPPF
Leadership Team, including the following: Provide strategic and tactcal program management support to various SRS Program Managers as needed to accomplish the NNSA Plutonium Programs mission objectves. Address special tasking, analysis, and documentaton as directed by the NNSA Plutonium Programs Program Manager in support of emerging program and strategic issues Assess the current state of planning and progress, including schedule of actvites, for the preparaton of deliverables and implementng strategies required to fulfill the Program’s Horizon Baseline and prepare for implementaton of NA-191’s Enhanced Management B program procedures. Support as required the contnuing evaluaton and implementaton of the recommendatons made to establish and prepare the required deliverables and implementng strategies for the NNSA Plutonium Programs.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
PhD or master’s degree with specialized training or bachelor’s degree with extensive specialized training applicable to special needs of the task or professional certification. 30 or more years of experience; 20 or more years in an executive role or a highly specialized area applicable to the special or unique needs of the task; recognized as a national leader in applicable subject matter
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in a diverse work environment, Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening. Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values. Senior level program management experience in DOE and NNSA national program efforts; prior NNSA-HQ assignments desired Twenty (20) years DOE, DOD or NRC nuclear experience commensurate with education criteria. Minimum of ten (10) years executive level experience in managing line items projects and programs and/or providing executive level project management reviews. Demonstrate prior experience in establishing new organizations for new mission activities Desired Qualifications Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred. Demonstrate prior operations experience at SRS facilities. Experience interfacing with both SRPPF and LANL pit program Leads. Knowledge of the pit program priorities essential to meet the schedule requirements for the 50 PPY mission at SRS Demonstrated working relationships with key pit program Sr. Leadership Team members at both SRS and
