25-26 Intervention Support Aide Anderson School District 3 Starr, SC 29684 JOB The Intervention Support Aide works alongside the Intervention Services Facilitator to support both the In-School Suspension (ISS) program and the building-level customized education program through leadership, supervision of students, managerial skills, and social skills so as to modify and enhance positive behavior of assigned students and promote academic achievement in a non-traditional setting.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Supervise students who have been assigned ISS or placed in the customized education program.

Implement a daily schedule that provides for assigned work, study periods, breaks, restorative practices, lunch, etc., for assigned students.

Enforces rules and regulations of the program, set forth by the school’s administration. Maintains constant contact with ISS and non-traditional students at all times unless relieved by the appropriate school personnel.

Provides appropriate information to the school’s stakeholders relating to program progress, behaviors, attitudes, etc.

Participates in staff development. Performs other duties as assigned. Willingness to coach a sport or sports within the district preferred but not required.
