HILTON HEAD MIDDLE POSITION PURPOSE
The Site Coordinator is a full-time position that will provide school-based magnet program coordination for the MSAP (Magnet Schools Assistance Program). The Site Coordinator is charged with providing school-based leadership and support in program implementation, stakeholder engagement, and the promotion of student achievement within the MSAP framework.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinate and oversee the implementation of the magnet program and the IB program at the assigned school, ensuring alignment with school goals and objectives. Provide professional leadership to staff members involved in the magnet program, including teachers, support staff, and administrators. Support recruitment efforts by participating in recruitment events, conducting school tours, and communicating with prospective families. Collaborate with the Project Director and Family Outreach Specialist to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the magnet program and attract prospective students and families. Communicate effectively with families to provide information about the magnet program, address concerns, and foster positive relationships. Cultivate partnerships with community organizations and businesses to enhance the magnet program and provide additional resources and opportunities for students. Collaborate with district administrators and other Site Coordinators to share best practices, resources, and strategies for enhancing magnet programs.

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including students, families, staff, and community members. Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead educational programs or initiatives, with a focus on promoting student success and achievement. Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies, particularly as they relate to promoting educational programs or initiatives. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently to achieve program goals and objectives.
EXPERIENCE
: Experience teaching students utilizing a language immersion model and curriculum preferred. Knowledge of language acquisition theories and best practices in language instruction. Ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
