Full-Time The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) supports the Program Manager in overseeing, planning, and coordinating all aspects of the full life cycle of the program. This position helps Ensures the goal of supporting the Polar mission and related aviation support services and deliverables are aplished within the prescribed timeframe, budgetary parameters and to the customer’s satisfaction. The Deputy Program Manager works closely with the Program Manager to provide cohesive team leadership and maintains positive working relationships with the customer and key stakeholders. Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance background investigation (VAP) for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Experience supervising project personnel and/or team, scheduling work, writing proposals and/or preparing bids, and experience ordering and/or transporting equipment and material. Possess knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DoD procurement policies and procedures and have written and oralmunications abilitiesmensurate with this management role. Five (5) years of direct management experience in Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of Aviation Command and Control Support Systems or management and delivery of related support services to include: Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Writing Proposals and Preparing Bids, and Equipment and Material Logistics Control.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provides management and oversight of all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors, to satisfy the requirements identified in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Provides initial estimates for Level of Effort (LOE) and schedules forpletion for all assigned tasks. Conducts regular reviews of the Program Management Plan (PMP), staff assignments, monthly progress, and financial reports with the Government sponsor. Provides and maintains a status of Government- Property (GP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) report. Informs the Government sponsor of any technical, financial, personnel, or general managerial problems encountered throughout the Period of Performance (PoP) as soon as possible. Facilitatesmunications, uses industry-best-standards and proven methodologies to track and document contract requirements/ activities to allow for continuous monitoring and evaluation by the Government. Accounts for all PWS activities, financials, performance metrics, and oues in the form of a Monthly Status (MSR) and consolidated annual report. As part of the program management task, the DPM shall assist in the creation and execution of strategy to provide overarching program management support throughout the USSOCOM ecosystem.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in any technical or managerial discipline and ten (10) years of direct work experience with C4ISR or similar program/projects. Eight (8) years of direct work experience, to include: design/development, production, installation, and test & evaluation of Aviation Command and Control Support Systems. Five (5) years of direct management experience in Design, Development, Production, Installation, and Test & Evaluation of Aviation Command and Control Support Systems or management and delivery of related support services to include: Supervising Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Writing Proposals and Preparing Bids, and Equipment and Material Logistics Control.
