000 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description Job Purpose The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine is seeking a candidate that will assist the research team (physician investigators and research coordinators) in the recruitment of research participants, the collection of research data, data entry, and organizational tasks for studies conducted in the Department of Orthopaedics. The candidate will work on research studies which mostly focus on shoulder, knee and elbow. The research assistant will be directly involved in the collection of questionnaire, interview, laboratory and other research data. This position requires exercising best practices in the patient management, providing timely and accurately reports from research databases to PIs and research staff, and provides support for the research investigators, faculty, trainee physicians and program coordinator/manager.
