Job Responsibilities
The High School Dual Enrollment Coordinator
- Chesterfield County will assist with the administration of dual enrollment course offerings at local high schools including support for full-time and adjunct faculty, course scheduling, curriculum, resources, and personnel to assure clear communications and enrollment functions for high school students, faculty, administrators, staff and other.
Responsibilities of the
Student Services Program Coordinator I Position:
Provide direction to functional areas of responsibility for the Dual Enrollment program at each high school.
Assist the Director of Dual Enrollment with the functions of planning, organizing and coordinating the Dual Enrollment program; Establishing and maintaining timelines and priorities; Participating with the administration of course offerings; Assure related activities comply with established standards, practices, laws, regulations and guidelines, policies and procedures; Assist with the Dual Enrollment program, services and strategies in alignment with NETC and District’s goals and objectives.
Assist with collaboration with academic and student services deans and faculty to develop and implement the dual enrollment program. Assist with reviewing and evaluating assigned programs and services.
Assist with completion of FASFA, scheduling and other duties related to enrollment.
All other duties assigned by the Director of Dual Enrollment.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
SBTCE Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree; Must have a valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree with High School District level experience. Experience working with scheduling curriculum, planning & implementation of dual enrollment. Experience with dual enrollment operations and activities; i.e. course scheduling, curriculum and accreditation process. Ability to communicate and meet deadlines effectively.
Additional Comments
Under direct supervision, responsibilities include planning, organizing and coordinating the dual enrollment program. Implement marketing and recruitment strategies. Must be able to work flexible hours as required by supervisor which include evenings and overnight travel. NETC is a qualified employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The PSLF Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time at NETC. To qualify for PSLF, you must:
